Boring Cylinders on banshee

Default Boring Cylinders on banshee

I am new at this and I need to bore my cylinders what is the next size up, and how big can i go without the walls being to thin on stock cylinders?

well, i would need more info on your motor right now, if its stock bore then you can .20 over (popular first oversize) most people when they rebuild them go .20 over each time, i would say you can safely do .60 over until heat becomes a problem, most people bore then as far as possible (.100 over) and wait for it to bust the wall, thats when they ebay a set of stock bore cylinders for 250 and start over again, thats the great thing about banshees is even when your topend is completely done (.100 over) buy some new cylinders from people who just go and buy cubs right away or some reason they arnt very used

good luck, BTW rjatv.com sells the whole wiseco top end kit for 150 (great price!) thats pistons (the size you need) rings, wrist pin bearing C-clips, everything

that is a great price for both piston kits. im gonna have to check that site out.
