I am looking to buy a new trailblazer,
what have your experiences been with this machine, reliabity wise, comfort, etc. what about going price quoted out the door price $3450.00, does that sound fair, how about resale value. im looking for the smoothest ride possible in its class, i only want to putt around. i like 2 strokes because much cheaper to rebuild.
Thanks fo any help.

I Have A 99 TB That I Got New 2 Years Ago. The Only Problem That I Had With It Was I Had To Rebuild The Starter On It Because The Brushs Went Out Cheap Fix Only $35. And As Far As Comfort Goes My Cousin Has A Warrior And My TB Is Like Ridding A Caddlic Compared To The Warrior. As Far As Price I Payed $3200 Out The Door 2 Years Ago.

I bought mine in may of 2000(y2k model) for $3500, tax and all, OTD, and was talking about trading it for a 01 Scrambler 500. I was quoted(through the kelly blue book, I think), $2200 for like new, or $1700 for the average for trade-in. Hmmm, I think I'll hang on to it, thank-you. I haven't had any problems, 'cept its kinda slow for a 250 2-stroke(compared to the old 250r's and quadracers), but a fun quad never the less. I'm 6'3", 270 pounds, and me and the ol' lady both go on 3 to 4 hour long rides and are comfortable the whole time. In fact, usually after an hour or so my cousin's dying to get of his warrior and onto my TBlazer for awhile, but I never let him
. The only trouble(trouble, not problems), was that the rear brakes wore out and were replaced under warranty, the chain is stretched, and the steering post bushing is loose. I think they fixed the brakes and steering for the 01 models, along with stainless steel brake lines. It also goes great through mud(better than a warrior, 400ex, or raptor) I think for the price, ya can't go wrong. Good luck!!!

Sounds like the TB is the machine for you if you don't want to spend a big bundle and your not terribly concerned about power. It has a great ride and mine has been very dependable with no major problems - just be sure to do your routine maintenance. I paid about the same for my TB last year. It's also nice if you decide you want a little more power there are plenty of aftermarket parts you can add without breaking the bank.

I will add to the other replies by saying for what you want it sounds like a TB is a perfect fit. I bought two '00 Tblazers here for $2999 ea. (in Florida). I think they went up in price shortly after that. You can't beat the price with any other quad and the quality is A-1. I had a '86 250R and a '90 Blaster and the TB is a much easier and more comfy ride (electric start and reverse gets you spoiled
). Shop around though, you might find one for a buck or two less depending on the dealers. Also be sure to waive any non-manditory fees the dealers like to tag on.
When I say mandatory I mean by Law, not by the individual dealer.
Good Luck
