Default RWR 42t Sprocket Q.

Fixin' to install a RWR 42t rear sprocket and noticed that it is several thousandths thicker on the stamped side. Does that thicker side go in towards the shock or out towards the wheel? Or does it even matter? It is noticably thicker so I'm assuming it's that way for a purpose...
