2007 raptor chain adjustment

Default 2007 raptor chain adjustment

i have 2007 raptor 700 se. right now my chain doesn't need to be adjusted. there is a specal rod i need to put in the axle housing to adjust it, or so i'm told , where do i get this tool, thanks

I use a long screwdriver and works just fine.

Default 2007 raptor chain adjustment

I use a long allen wrench and stick it thru the sprocket hub after you loosen the 4 allen pinch bolts just pull the quad backwards and it will tighten the chain

Just has to fit in the hole and be long enough to extend out past the sprocket.

Default 2007 raptor chain adjustment

or by a drift pin (sometimes refered to as an alignment tool). most hardware stores carry them.
