Hey guys, i'm soon going to be buying the 2008 Renegade 800X, and i just wanted to hear from people who have them or driven them, are they a sick machine? i keep seeing all of these video's on youtube of them, and all it does it just make me work harder for it! anyways, is there any major problems that occur with this bike, how does it do in water and mud... i know it has 4x4 and it is an 800, but are the snorkels all high enough, and is the CVT water tight so the belt doesn't slip? if you guys could give me a nice review of the bike, i would really appreciate it alot!

P.S btw i'm coming off a modded polaris 250 2 stroke... i imagine there there is gonna be a massive power difference.

When you get this bike its recommanded to buy some skids to protect the weak frame. Other than that, yes its a sick sick machine. The CVT was fixed for the 08s.

 

I don't think the frame is weak it will dent easily but to completely fail would take a good hit...about the same as other machines.IMO
