how can i tell if the oil pump is working correctly. The jerk at the local dealership to buy a manuel. So i hooked up the oil tank and still mixed the gas. it will idel all day but if you hold it open it fouls plugs. i know that if it is pumping then the oil will eventually get used up but i dont want to seize anything up thanks guys

 

The LT50 oil injection works off the transmission, meaning, it's not injecting oil when the quad is sitting still. You don't wanna let these 50s sit around and idle.

 

i know that the pump works off of the tranny but it was not hooked up when i bought it so before i stop mixing the gas i want to make sure that it is pumping. on the back of the centre case there is a silver fitting with a long small black hose is this the breather or does it have something to do with the pump
