Raptor valve adjusting tool ?

The Raptor service manual says you need a tappet adjusting tool (YM-08035, 90890-01311) to adjust the valves. My dealer says they no longer make that part (yeah, right). Anyway, do I need this tool to adjust the valves on my raptor?
