got out on the new raptor for the first time monday. the motor had 0 hrs. i rode it hard. my second ever break in on a motor. I broke in the DS real nice and easy and was not happy with the results. I broke in the rappy 700 HARD!!! I did tons of research and i feel this way will prove to be better for engine life and output. I must say this thing is quiker in stock form than my DS.. hands down. i dont care what anyone says........ sooooo thats why the ds is getting a new piston and head porting!!!! should be ready to tear into it in about 4 weeks or less. cant wait.

I take it you got a 700? Those mills seem pretty potent with mods! The basic 3 get around 50whp [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Jason you got a hell of a deal on that Raptor.. if I can make it to SL this year, I may beg for a spin on it.

 

i've always broke things in hard and haven't had any disapointments, hope it works as well for you.

 

gonna get the basic 3 mod with my tax rebate. gonna get the full HMF pipe. made in the USA!!!! also gonna get the pro flow filter/adapter and probably the HMF optimizer. I may be in the market for another rappy and get rid of the DS this summer. I just dont know??? I really would like to do some work to the DS soon though and just ride it alot to see if the passion for it is still there. My girlfriend will be riding the 700 this season. If it was just me riding it I would be putting duels on it, power comander, cam, and hi-comp piston!!!!! that may be a bit much for her at this point. she has stepped aup from a polaris trailboss
