Default Exhaust Question For DS650

hello everyone!

i am a DS650 rider from switzerland and am planning to replace the original exhaust with a new, nicer one!

while browsing the web, i found this one that i like very much:

http://www.whitebrothers.com/2.../e2/applications.html

so far so good... i called several stores in the USA to ask about that exhaust and it seemed to me that everyone says something different about it.
some say, that the exhaust does not fit on my quad and other say that this product never even existed...

i also found out that white brothers has been bought out and is now calles "vance and hines". i also called there and they say that they are not producing any exhaust for the ds650 (now)...
if that is so, i would have to hurry to find one thats still in a store or so...

i am a little confused now and thats why i am writing here. can somebody here help me? or has someone even installed one of those exhausts on his/her quad?

please help...

regards from switzerland

flo

Default Exhaust Question For DS650

Welcome to the forums... I've never seen an E2 on a DS 650. I've run an HMF for five years, and I'm very happy with it... fit, finish, and most of all price. Excellent gains over stock. For the price of the E2 on your link, you could almost get a full system. The E2 is WAY over priced if you're asking me.

Default Exhaust Question For DS650

thanks!

i found other stores that sell them for 300$...
i just thought that it would be more helpful to post the manufacturer's website...
after all, i would even pay 399$ for it because one of the main reasons for the E2 is its look...

also, i need an exhaust that is not too loud because here in switzerland the law is not very friendly with loud exhausts :-( ... and 96db sounds ok for me.
i have some other stuff installed on my quad that the police should not find and i don't want them to stop me because the loud sound of the exhaust;-)

my second choice would be the fmf powercore 4, but only if the E2 is really not an option...

what confuses me the most is that the website of the ex-manufacturer sais that it works with my quad and a lot of other people say that it does not...

In your part of the world I would recommend:

All the specs you are looking for will be better served
by a exhaust company nearest you.
