Default HONDA RECON 250 YR 2000 I NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP

Here is my problem i have a recon 250 i have never had any problems till now i just replaced my entire rear end and now more problems arrive whenever i go higher than six inches of water my atv shuts right down. and then i have pull it out and wait about 2 min then is starts right up again like nothing ever happend. WHAT THE HELL DO I NEED TO DO someone please help me i am going to the sand dunes in 2 weeks and this problem needs to be goe thanks guys

If youre in the sand dunes, then water shouldn't be much of an issue.
Make sure the overflow tube on the carb, and the vent line arent underwater, ...you might need to reroute them.

Default HONDA RECON 250 YR 2000 I NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP

i've got the same problem on my 97 con, i installed a snorkle and re routed the tranny breather and diff and rear and carb breathers and anytime i get up over mabe 2 feet or i hit a big splash of a little bit of water it acts up on me and stalls.. its a pain in the *** and i don't know whats wrong with it

If the breather vent tube is pinched or plugged the motor will breath thru the overflow tube , once the overflow tube goes under water the engine won't run..

If the overflow and vent tubes are routed correctly and not the problem check your spark plug wire. If water gets in the boot it can kill your spark. Once it dries the problem goes away like you said.

nope, nothing wrong with the breather. im 99% sure its electrical, just dont know were. the spark plug boot is packed with boot grease or di-electric grease
