my son has an 07 raptor, it has a power commander and a pipe. the suspension has bee taken care of as well. what else can be done to make it better? what are others running? cams? piston? valves & porting? WHATS THE HOT SET UP????

 

Alot of people call it the "Big 3". Exhaust, Filter and the power commander. After that, Its up to him how far he wants to go. Check out raptorforum.com, They have everything you could ever want to know!

 

look down thats what i got on my 660 which is different yeah but not much.
Deffinetly need a power lid and if you want to get it fast a new Carb would do just that but your looking to about 600 for a new carb.

 

Just depends on how extreme you want to go. The options are getting to be huge.

If wanting to get into the motor I would switch to a set of duals. There are also a couple new Intake set-ups coming out soon that they say will be better than whats out now. Will have to wait and see on that though.

+1 on everything he said. there is a new set of duals coming out made by dasa that i think will put out more than any other dual out. and fuelatv just put out a new intake that make 3 hp more than they next best system (trinity). but fci is about to bring one out that i think will make more than that one.

 

the 07 raptor is fuel injected... are you taling about dual exhaust? i ride a DS so this yamaha stuff is a bit new to me. all i know is it needs to go faster. if that neans into the motor so be it. what works inside??? like i posted earlier, it has a power commander & has been piped. do any of you guys run cams or high compression pistons????
