I went riding yesterday and everytime i got into some puddles or creek crossings (shallow stuff) it seamed like my exhaust got 2 times louder than normal. It was kinda like when the head pipe got wet the seal between the pipes lossened up. Has anyone else ever had something like this happen to them.

Also my shifter is very stiff and hard to get into gear. Its rubbing the inside of the side cover pretty bad. I was looking at the linkage and i think i can bend it a little to get it out of the way.

 

water goint in teh eghuast macking it muffle a lil bit then evaporating? idk how deep were you did teh eghaust go under?

 

No it wasn't that deep. I was getting the same sound when just plashing through puddles.
