I have one friend that owns a Raptor 660, and another that is going to get a YZF450 or a TRX450R, how do the 450's compare to the 660? handling, mod for mod, ect...

 

450's are have better suspension and more power. IMO they are better in every aspect except trail riding. 660's don't have to rev like the 450's and they have reverse.

I think it depends on the trials which one is better.... Who needs reverse anyways....

I suppose thats true. 450's handle fast trails well just not the slow one's. I ride alot of trails with my 450 with no prob. As for who needs reverse? Well, I'd love reverse but, not enough to get rid of my yfz and get something else. Also, Don't you have reverse. : )

 

yes, but its not a nessacity. I like the warrior, which just happens to have reverse if i had a 400 ex no reverse wouldn't bother me.
plus i grew up on dirtbikes n they don't have reverse...
but am a advocate of the yfz over the raptor any day. If your not old, you can ride it on amy trial a raptor goes and keep up

 

i feel good when i put my raptor in reverse and look over at my buddies pickin 450s up or pushing them to turn around.....

what about the speed of each, stock vs stock, and mod for mod, and a straight drag

 

yfz in a street drag, and mod for mod...

 

me and my poor blaster have to beat 'em in the turns, no straight drags for me
