ruby valves

Just wondering if anyone out there has adjusted there valves.I did mine and they were at exaust .15mm and .11 mm for intake,honda says that it should be .23mm ex and .15mm for int..so that's what i did and now you can here them ticking,is this normal,i would imagine at .23mm they would be loud,is this normal ,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, every time I adjust my vavles on my XR's they tick...so I spoke to the honda tech and he said that he usally adjusts them on the tight side as most loosen up with time.

Yes I have done mine. Is it a VERY loud clacking noise? If so then you were in the wrong stroke. If it sounds like the normal "valves out of adjustment" noise, then did you use a torque wrench to tighten the locking nuts on the vavles? Where did you get those measurements? Doesn't the manual use english measurements? Something like .006 stands out. Are you adjusting all four at once? Using the torque wrench is important so that they dont come loose right away.
