Default plastic repair

Hey-

I got about a 20" crack on my front fender. I know there is some way you can weld palstic but i dont want to do that. I was thinking zip ties. Is there anything special i need to know if i go that route? Any ohter ways to fix it?

Thanks

i read somewhere you are suppose to drill a hole at the end of the crack so it dont get bigger. Is this true? how big of hole? Where at?

drill a hole and where the crack ends just a little bit bigger than the crack itself and when you use the zip ties, drill a hole just big enough that the tie goes in.
