They are narrower and shorter than the 450R...so to me that would look a little odd. I think they should have gone a little wider for more stability on a 700cc bike.

You can check out a review at atv.com if you want to know more!

The front end looks fairly wide, maybe wider than the back like Yamaha does it....at least very square if not. This will be good for stability, but maybe bad for tight trail riders (???).

Got to say that it is just as heavy in person as it is "on paper"!!!

I read the atv.com review of it and they give it a pretty good review. One of the things that stick out more than anything was the fact that Yamaha uses dry weight where Honda weighs full of fluids and standard equipment. They went on to say that the weight difference between the 700R and the 700XX was more like 50lbs. With that in mind it may not be the tank that I was expecting it to be.

I think it will be a very nice trail bike, allong the lines of a Polaris Outlaw.

My opinion on this machine was totally opposite of what it has been since Thursday morning when I got to spent a little time on one.
To me, the 700XX does not compete with ANY model ATV over the 400EX/Z400 class. Don't get me wrong, the 700XX is more than both of the 400s, but not it's still not in the same ballpark with the KTMs or Raptor700 at all.

If Polaris had kept the 500 Predator in it's lineup, that would be the quad I would say the 700XX most closely competes with. I guess that nominates the KFX700.
