I just bought a 2001 Polaris 325 Trail Boss and thought would be a simple Fix. The guy parked it about a year ago and before he did it was running. I emptied all the old gas, cleaned the carb, put a new spark plug, and new filter. It seems to be getting air,gas, and fire. Sometimes it will crank and run for just a few moments and then it cuts off. Then it doesn't seem to want to crank back for a while and when it does it only runs a few moments again. Its like it just stops getting something. Im really baffled by this and could use any advice or suggestions that you have.

First check the exhaust by taking it off at the head.If it runs you havea plugged exhaust.If not pull the carb off and take the pilot jet out and be sure ALL the holes are clear along with the main jet.
