Default yamaha 660 getting to much fuel

so my raptor started leaking fuel out of the drains at the bottom of the carb and its leaking out of both of them. its been running ruff and it constantly backfires so im assuming its getting to much fuel. i thought maybe the floats were sticking so i took it apart and sprayed some carb cleaner in them and that didnt help. i have also heard if the intake boots going to the carb arent on tight that could be the cause but i checked it and its fine... any ideas

just had a yfz with the same problem, i took the bowl off.. float was alrght.. but i took carb cleaner and cleaned the entire thing out every nook and cranny i could find and it stopped leaking.. something was blocking up one of the jets and it was causing it to overflow. try cleaning it out real good.. or goin to an autoparts store and gettin the gallon of stuff that you dip it in for an hour or so to clean it out.

if it back fires that usually means your not getting enough gas. if you dont have a jetting kit then thats what i would get get. what kind of mods do you have on it?
