what is the bearing carrier stopper bolt supposed to touch on the bearing carrier is it supposed to hit the point on the bearing carrier and am i supposed to turn the chain tightener back to original starting point

 

The best I can remember,there is a tab on the bearing carrier that will hit the bolt to keep it from spinning on around and loosening the chain back up.I guess what I'm trying to say is when the carrier hits the bolt then that is the farthest that you can tighten your chain.Why are you asking if you need to turn the carrier back to the original starting point?If your just tightening the chain then no you dont turn it back to starting point.

 

i just put new bearings in the carrier and dont remember how it came out
