Hey guys i need some help on determining what kidn of quad im going to get. Alls I do is trail ride and i was wondering which quad would fit me better. A YFZ450 or LTR 450? If you guys could help me out that would be great cause im pretty stuck in the middle between the two.

 

neather are that good at trailing riding. 450s like to rev almost like a 2 stroke. the ltr is also wider than the yfz so on tight trails it chould be hard to navigate. have you looked at the raptor 700. it is far better than the 450s on the trails because it make so much power in lower rpms

 

ya i looked at the raptor 700 but it didnt really catch my attention.. idk not a real big fn of the raptor( not saying that there a bad quad) i have a mojave 250 right now and I have riden the yfz before and enjoyed it but i heard the ltr sits to low and is to wide for trails

 

yfz is a very good quad....not ideal for trail riding but it will do it with a little extra clutch work. and i think a honda 450r will be the best 450 for trail riding
