need info on timing a 2000 bombardier ds650

i put a big bore kit in my motor and i need to know how to time it. and i would also like to know if i should put a rev limiter in it. i used the stock cam should i put a different cam in it or will it run good with this stock cam when i bought it they said it had low hours on it any help would be great thank you

First off welcome to the forums.
To time it correctly there is a allen bolt below the clutch cover, take it out and you can see the counterbalancer for the crank. Sharpen a 6mm bolt and roll the engine over until you see a ground out spot, that is where the bolt goes. Install the piston and then the head. Before putting the cams back in try getting your hands on a set of 109's or A1/A2's, this will really make the big bore run. If you haven't changed your rev box, do that cause the rev limit on a 00 is real low, I used a Vortex, Ron Woods sells a good one too and so does Big gun.
