The easiest way to remove a ball joint on a Polaris is:
You will need a Propane torch and a Grease Gun
1) Remove the A arm from the ball joint
2) Remove the plate holding the ball joint in
** Note - If the ball has broken out of it's socket, find a self tapping screw to fit up in the little hole in the socket still left in the strut.
3) At this point things start getting hot (watch your hands, fingers, etc) - Heat the area on the strut around the ball joint with a propane torch
4) Using the grease gun - pump grease in the zerk intended to normally grease the ball joint - this will push the ball joint out

5) After things cool a little, clean all the grease out of the socket - heat the inside of the socket back up and slide the new ball joint into the strut.
