Default DS make over

as some of you may know i am currently doing a make over of the "poison" DS, Ace you should like this one. i posted some pics of the progress so far. i am i abit farther along than the pics show but this is what i have. take a look & let me know what you think. i have incorporated some ideas that i think will work great in the long run. i eliminated the air box & used a new mount for the stock snorkel and rectifier mounting. also the barf bottle for the oil breather. thanks for your opinions.

Yes sir, that thing is looking sweet, still definitly a one of a kind. Purple used to be my favorite color, although a little deeper, but this project is coming along nicely. I've run that exact set up for the filter for a few years now, saves a ton of weight getting rid of the snorkels, box and whatnot. For the regulator/rectifier I made a plate that dropped the taillight below the six pack rack, hung the reg/rec to the inside of the light and that allows room for our (CA) green sticker above the taillight. Cleans the area up and consolidates it all into one area. Mine are painted to match the bike colors.
Looking good, keep us posted.

Looking real good!! Man I wish I lived closer to you guys! Being here in MO you don't get to see too many of the DS650's and when you do they are nothing like you guys do with them. Good luck with it. Just got the cable from ron woods in for the TM45, can't wait to get it in!!

I really like the dash. That came out looking clean. Might have to copy you on that one.
