Love the dash, and the switches... horn... oh yea thats sweet... can't say I am with you on the color scheme, but I will say it takes a set of brass ballz to ride a pink bike. Certainly is unique.. good job!

 

Wow thats different! Nice job! is that a graphics kit u had custom made or painted plastics?

 

had the graffix made at the swap meet. under $100.00 and a couple of hours putting them on. had a little mom & pop leather shop made up the nets for the nerf bars. all the aluminum stuff, dash,shrouds, switch box, battery cover, air cleaner bracket i made in my shop and had a local powder coating shop do the finish.

 

GOT THE MOTOR BACK IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rode today for the 1st trip to break it in. sounds good and smooth will know more after the dyno.

 

I am envious.. your a lot farther than I am on my build.. hopefully this year I'll be done. Waiting for some change to pick up my head from Eric and a rear Shock I won on ebay to get the wheels really spinnig. I miss the DS...

 

started this project around easter. thought it would NEVER get done. just have to decide which nets to use in the nerf bars. have run the motor through 4 heat cycles for break in, got it up to 60mph this morning. all looks good & smooth. hope it is all i have been shooting for,mid to high 70's for hp. only time will tell. should see the dyno in the next week or so.
