raptor front wheel bearing???
#1
Looking to replace the front wheel bearings in the '02 Raptor 660R and was wondering if anyone knew the bearing number? I've got a big bearing supply place not too far from where I work and they usually have anything I've needed in stock if I can give them a bearing number... and they're usually about 1/4 the price of the dealership... (of course the dealers don't have any in stock so that's out anyhow)

The bearing # should be stamped into the original bearing. They can cross reference that #.</end quote></div>
Figured that - just haven't pulled it apart and was hoping someone had done this before and has the bearing / seal part numbers off hand... I was hoping to pick up the parts to do the swap this weekend - otherwise it will be pull it apart this weekend, go to the parts store next week, then replace them the follwing weekend... just don't have a ton of time during the week to work on anything...

Usually my dealer stocks the Pivot Works kit with all the hub bearings and seals for $40. It will be hard to beat that price. It's probably best to buy the seals from a Yamaha dealer anyway.
I usually take my hubs off and take them to the dealer and have them remove the bearings and install new ones. I never figured out how to get the dang things out. They usually charge $80 for parts and labor to do it.
