Was out with my son on Saturday and his quad was running fine. We stopped for a drink and when we went to go again it would not start. Turns over fine so I removed the plug and it doesn't appear to be getting any spark. Anyone have any suggestions on what to due or how to test it for sure. Thanks.

the very first thing after discovering you have no spark is to start looking for a loose wire, chances are that all it is, the wires in the connectors most of the time are loose, first place i'd look is at the cdi unit, take a small screw driver in one hand and hold the cdi with the other while still connected to the harness, you'll see in the back of the connector where the wire goes in take your screw driver and push each wire back into the connector, then try and start the atv, if it still doesn't have a spark start looking at the rest of the connectors.

No Luck. I have decided to sell! All works good xcept spark issue, to much time spent, not enough time or knowledge. If you are looking for an atv for a kid or parts, the rest of it is in great shape, only about 20hours of use. 780 929 6240
