Help warrior not starting just clicking

Default Help warrior not starting just clicking

hey guys new to the site.I was out riding this weekend 2 weeks ago I put a new battery on my 2000 warrior one you have to charge your self.all was good for the first hour,then I shut down to talk to someone and It would not start back up
just made a clicking sound.I was 2 hours away so I had to push start the rest of the day(that sucked)does anybody no what this is or has anyone had this happen to them.please help.


ps. I rode all day when I put the new battery on 2weeks ago.

this all start this weekend.

it could be a bad connection somewhere or possibly the starter.(when i had trouble out of my starter on a 99 warrior it done the same thing.

i would try jumping your quad from another quad, i carry a set of jumper cables under my seat i made from speaker wire and clips from raido shack. they work great! if it starts that way, i would say it is your battery or a bad connection that is draining your battery. try charging your battery too and then try to restart it.

I have a buddy that charging it now then he's going to put a load to it.
if the battery is good (it is only 2 weeks old) i'll try it again. if it starts to just click again does that mean it is the starter? If it starts up could it be a bad stator and thats why the battery is not keeping a charge.

It has to be your conections because my freinds did the same thing and we titend the conections on the battery and the startor and then it was fixxed.

I'll admit to thinking these were 6-volt battery's-had the same syntoms... if you did that try charging it on 12, works a lot better, lol. If thats not it make sure your connections are tight.

battery is charged and took a load.tryed to start and clicked again
so I tryed to go from the solonoid would not start not even a click. could it be the solonoid?
