Is the kill switch suposed to be hot going into the cdi?

Default Kill Switch
In case of Honda or their Clone Engines, the black/white wire from the CDI should be wired with the Kill-switch/Engine-stop Switch, it would work with connecting the wire to GND in order to stop the engine.

Default Kill Switch
ok but going into the cdi is the kill switch hot or does the cdi supply it power. And it also goes to the tether strip kill switch.
