Default Should I buy a 2000 Arctic Cat 500?

I am looking for another machine and found a 2000 AC 500 4x4 with Warn Winch, and full snow plow setup for 3500 bucks.

The machine is owned by this really older gentlemen and it only has 275 miles on it.

Is 3500 reasonable? Having always been a Kawasaki guy, I don't know much about AC's. Are the 2000 500's reliable?

thanks in advance guys

With only 275 miles on it I think it's worth it. I've heard that those are some good bikes. Just inspect it and drive it before you buy it.

I worked for a dealler for about four years and those were some very reliable bikes! We seldom had any problems and if we did it wa operator error or lack of maintance! Go for it man!! Good luck

Don't worry about the year - 275 miles on it - it is not even broke in yet - takes 400-500 miles before it is broken in.
Hell yea, it is worth the $3500.
The 500 AC is one of the most reliable ATV's around. And I might add one of the most capable ones too....
Great deal, go buy it before someone else does or the seller changes his mind......

Id take a 2000 with 275 miles before a 2008 with 500 miles. ATVs are not like cars ,forget about the year and just look at condition.
