ok i havnt got the chance for a compression test yet, and i will when i get the chance to, but i always use the same supreme gas with my blaster, now every time i start it up my spark plug gets fluded and it will just stop and turn from new to black, with wet fuel. This never happened before but i tried it like four times and it just gets all black and stops, does this sound like it needs a new top end?

 

When did it start? Just out of nowhere or did something lead up to it?


I had a case where this happened and it was a result of the reeds being worn out. Replaced them and problem solved.

 

do u have aim. just now there was black stuff on the ground and where the exaust pipe comes in contact with the engine it was all greesey gluey fluid i dont know what it was but it was from the bottom of the exaust and below

 

No don't have aim. I'm assuming the fluid was oil? Don't really know what else it could be. 2-stokes get oil build up around points of exhaust leaks. That's normal. run your finger inside your pipe and you'll feel it. If it was on the ground than it's probably leaking oil.

 

you haven't by chance added oil to the case lately have you? or changed it?

 

check your reeds and makes sure they aren't damaged

 

nope never changed touched the oil lately still have half a tank so i think the reads are gone, i don't know where my manual is but are they easy to remove and check? i think its either the reeds or the oil injector is gone, could the top end lead to fuel and wet spark plugs? when its clean it starts 1-2 kick in warm weather

 

well if the oil injector is gone then don't try and ride it. you'll just blow up the motor due to runnin a raw gas mixture. the reads bolt into the intake side of the motor by 4-5 bolts i beleive 4. take the carb boot off the reed cage and take the air intake boot off. move the carb out of the way so the bolts can be take out. make sure you don't damage the gasket and pull off the reed cage. if any of the pedals are broken, cracked, or aren't closing. thats your problem right there. if air/fuel mixture is getting through the reeds with out opening up it could cause the chamber to flood other wise making the plug foul out. sorry if this don't make sense i'm typing fast. if theres anything you need me to explain more in detail let me know

yeah mainly. but that could possibly not be your problem. it could also be that the bike isn't getting well enough compression thats its not burning all the fuel causing the plug to foul out.
