I've added some plowing pics to my photo album linked below. They are in the "Snow Pics" album. I always have trouble getting snow pictures to come out good, too hard to get the contrast between the snow & the subject even. The blaze orange overalls don't help matters any.

Lance, nice pics there man. I know what you mean though about the sunset and frost bit. You'll see an awesome sunrise or sunset, take a picture of it, and the lighting never comes out right. We get some really awesome frostings around here when it gets good and cold, or during a snowfall. All the trees have about an inch at least of snow/frost locked around the branches, it's really pretty actually, but again, the pictures never turn out right.

Thanks for posting the pics of the Moose in action. I was kind of curious how high it would lift with the winch mount, from the side view it looks like you've got it up about a foot off the ground? I told my buddy about a week ago now, I was going to just go buy a Moose, bring my 'Cat up here to school and start charging to plow drives, sidewalks, parking lots for stores and such, try to make a little money while going getting my second degree. Well, as of yesterday, it seems somebody has stolen my idea-there are now 3 guys out with atv's hauling around and plowing snow! Damn, I wasn't quick enough! Heh heh heh, oh well, I still might end up doing something like that, not sure just yet. Need to see how much more snow we're going to get around here.

Well, take care,

Mike

Cat Lance & Cowboy, I have my moose plow on my 500 auto, and only one word! FANTASTIC!!!!! I live in upstate N.Y. and we got some good snow last week. My sons in two hours made $75.00. Their twin boy's 13 year old. I cant believe how this thing plows. It's like a small truck!!. Just wanted to say If you have snow you cant go wrong with this set up.
Nice pic's Cat.

Wow, not a bad return for a couple hours work! Now, spread that over the entire snow season, and I really don't see how a guy couldn't make money-especially if the plow is already paid off. -I mean, has already paid for itself through other jobs. I may have just screwed up. I damn near ordered a 60" moose to start plowing around the area here. I found that the University itself wants someone to plow the campus for them, as well as 3 different apartment complex's, and one real estate business. I knew there were 3 guys on atv's plowing downtown, making decent money, but two of them are now out of business-one had a home made plow that got tore up the first day in use, the other broke something on his machine. Even though I'd be under a different clientel all together, I think I could have made some decent money in my spare time.

Here's the problem-weather report says sunshine, 40 degrees for the next week or so. Well, I check out some new guns, then the owner shows me a pair of Leupold Gold Ring 12x50 binocs, said I could have them for $300 off. Couldn't resist, so I took it. I must say though, damn, they are nice! Went down to the river this afternoon and in about 20 minutes, picked out roughly 60-70 deer. Guess what-just then, it started snowing. We've got about 2" now and no end in sight, should have waited and got the Moose! Oh well, live and learn I guess. Hell, if this keeps up till tomorrow, I just may order the Moose after all.

Thanks again for the pics Lance, nice to see the plow in action on the 'Cat. I'm sorry to say it, but all these little Honda's around here just look kind of "cute" with their 48" blades. Can't wait to pull up next to one with a big 60" Moose on my Bi/Tri Clawed 'Cat! Sly, thanks for the encouraging words, might just go try it afterall.
