Default Clamp on air filter adapter for wolverine

I am getting pretty tired of the design of my 03 wolverines air box. I'm never positive whether my filter is properly seated, and would really like to make the switch to a clamp on style.

Is there anywhere to buy just a clamp on adapter? I've seen the prodesign filter kits that come with the billet adapter, the only problem is I recently bought a new unifilter, and don't need another filter.

I've seen these plastic clamp on adapters, but it says theyre only for K&N filters.

Do K&N filters and Unifilters have the same opening? would I be able to buy this adapter and use my Unifilter with it?

Does anyone have any ideas or know of anything? I'd really like to convert to clamp on, but don't want to buy a whole prodesign kit for $90 or whatever when I just got a new unifilter.

Thanks

yea drop in filters suck, only prob is there is two diff kinds of filters, drop ins and clamp style filters, if you have a kind that just drops in and doesnt have a fitting to be clamped on to ur bracket on ur airbox theres no use in trying to use your uni...whats the shape of ur filter? round or is it same as warrior like a cylinder shape? that part on ebay shud work if you have a clampstyle filter...but im thinking you dont, if you do then measure your filter opening and call that shop on ebay to see what that adapter is so youll know it will fit

Thanks for the info.

The Unifilter I bought comes with a hose clamp, and is just open on the end so I assumed it could clamp down on the end of the adapter.

It slides down over the stock metal air filter frame and clamps down on the end, I assumed all the filters were similar, that you need an adapter if you want to go clamp on.

jakeowens - I was curious if you ever bought this adapter and if your Uni filter fit on it OK. I am in the same boat, except with an Amsoil filter clamp-on style and am wanting to get an adapter but don't want to spend $80-$90 on a Pro Design.

Yamaha sells a GYTR adapter for the Raptor 350 that you should be able to fit in your stock air box with a little modification and use a clamp on filter.

Thanks derrelw....I'm assuming the Raptor 350 and wolvie 350 use the same filter and/or similar air box. If so, I might look into these as well in the plastic version, as I saw these on ebay too.
