Default How do i waterproof a atv

I have a 05 prairie 360. I like being advernrous and going in deep water. Is there anyway i can waterproof it pretty good? My friend told me to put some silikon or some waterproof sealing device on the airbox lid.

You shouldn't have to do anything - you can run the stock P360 through water up to the racks if needed. As long as your stock snorkle remains above water it will continue to run. If you do lots of mudding in deep water you may choose to mod with a lift, bigger tires and a higher snorkle, but frankly the P360 is a little underpowered for that kind of use.

Check out a quad or truck mudding site. They will give you lots of ideas and countless ways to go about it. There are hundreds of different ways to make your machine more capable and reliable in deep water. Everything from die-electric grease to snorkels to vent hoses.

start off by adding die-electric grease to all your electrical connections
