420 bash plate

its here! they no longer put 420 on it cos they had numours complaints about that being a slang for the drug people.

does that plate allow you to have acess for a winch mounted behind the stock plastic bumpers??

no. i have to cut out for it. i asked them why they dont make it that way and they said they havent got that far. so i will do it myself [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Can you provide a link and cost for that. just bought a 2008 TRX420FE, pick it up next Wednesday. did notice the plastic there

if you plan on using the 420 a lot, buy a 2 dollar flat black rustoleum. wheeling 4x4 for years made me realize, theres no paint out there than can withstand scraping from rocksand trees. i've had a whole bumper treated with durabak, some powdercoated, and still got deep scrapes and scratches. just use cheap rattle can with proper primer coating. its easier and cheaper to touch up this way.



can you please post a pic of your bashplate with your "custom" winch cut-out?

the 420 is the only machine i have so yes i plan on using A LOT!!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] well i could us my wife's recon but its only 2wd.

i got $3 paint instead [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] walmart

i just got the hole cut last night and got it all sanded so ill try and get pics soon.

slap on some of that electricians liquid tape on the winchs' terminals.
