jig saw. then i took a metal file to smooth the edges. thanks if you look i got new shoes too [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

just to prevent rust. i paid 350 dollars for my warn winch( it come with the plastic caps for the terminals but water will still get in), so i figure spending 5 minutes and $3.00 more is a good deal. you can get it in any hardware store.

btw, you had me sold on that plate, i just ordered mine 5 minutes ago.

hehehehe. just take your time with cutting and filing! i have dielectric grease on every connection on my bike and i have no rust on the posts, its been there for a year now and nothing.

Did you paint it? It almost looks black in the last picture. I think black would look really good

Looks like you're already done but I was going to suggest using rhino lining. That adheres well to metal and is supposed to be bulletproof.

BTW, it looks good.

yes i painted it. ap said they have no intentions of making them in black, same for the hl one. i wanted black so i use rust o lium black with texture. the pics really dont do it any justice [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Good work!!!

I would also recommend some plastic split-tubing (available at Walmart or an auto supply) to wrap and protect the wires from rubbing against frame/each other...brush has a nasty habit of pulling on those wires
