Default Alta Mach 1???? I think.

A friend of mine has a small atv that has no stickers on it, no labels, nothing. I am going to try to fix it to get it running and rideable again, but I don't know where to get parts. I found a plate on the front that has 2 sets of numbers, 1 looks like a VIN, but it has 20 characters. The other I have no idea what it is. The reason I think it is an Alta Mach 1 is because after searching the internet I finally found one that looks exaclty like the one my friend has, but with stickers. After more searching, the Alta Mach 1 is only available from ETON dealers. I went to the ETON America website and checked their parts catalog. If I search for Mach1 parts come up with part numbers and pictures, but no buying options. I sent an email to ETON America and they said they do not manufacture Alta and don't have any parts for them. My friend doesn't remember where she got it, and doesn't have any paper work for it.

I found a number on the engine, and when I search for it, it comes up as a 90cc engine, but according to Alta, the Mach 1 is a 70cc atv.

If parts are interchangeable with other atvs, that would be great, I just can't find anything that says it.

I found where to get parts locally, but I would still like to know if other parts are compatible with this model.

can u post a few pics on your profile? A lot of those small 70 and 90cc are made by the same company and sold under different names. maybe someone can tell by looking at it what it is and can help u more.
if u look on my profile, i have a pic of the first one we bought for my son. Its a 70cc made by Avanti. At lease thats who claims to have made it. I've seen ones like that from so many different companies. I believe they are very much alike.

Eton America does have parts for the Alta series, they just don't sell direct to the public. I would be more than happy to help you get parts for your machine. Go to my website www.EtonParts.com and hit the contact us button. Send me an email with what you are looking for and I'd be more than happy to get the parts to you.

Thats it, Those were the only places I could find that had anything about the Mach1. The catalogs do not have a listing for the Mach1, but when I searched the catalog, it came up with parts, but no where to buy them.

I found a Suzuki shop locally that sells parts, and ordered them already. If I need anything else I will check with you, I'm wondering if you would be able to get parts cheaper too.
