Not to long ago, there was a thread on here about a gentlemen with a little bit of Yankee ingenuity who cut open the standard exhaust canister. He gutted some of the baffles and increased the outlet side with positive results. I am sure that if you did a search of the archives you could find the thread and the photos. Good luck.

Yea, that was Niteowl. If you don't want to gut your factory pipe you can always buy a Supertrapp exhaust system for around 180-230 bucks.

About tires, If you are into steep hill climbings I would recomend staying with a short wide tire. Like a 26x12x12 tire. Or if possible try to get a set of mud tires and another set of tires for hill climbs. The taller the tire the less stable it is for hill climbs. ON the other hand the taller the tire the more ground clearance you have, which is great for mudding.

IF you are looking for a set that will do both get some Dura Blue Spacers (1.5" fronts and the new 2.5" rears), and some 26x12x12 tires.

Look at Titian 589s, Outlaws, Mud Bugs, Vampires, and thats about all I can think of.
