i have a 2000 400 ex that has a 440 kitin it and it smokes and tics like crazy i can figure it needs rings but whats the tic i owned a 250 ex a few years ago and it needed a wrist pin that caused to to tic is that the problem with my 400 and how do i tighten the chain on the 400 i know how to on banchees and other bikes but cant find nothin on the 400 unless its under my skid plate

if its a 2000, change the timing chain and the tentioner! 100% says thats what it is. or un less it smokes. then it needsvalve seals, and timing chain and tentioner
