400ex foot shifter problem

Default 400ex foot shifter problem

The screw broke off in it only like 45% of the screw broke in there, how do i get the shifter off? i tried to but it wont come off all the way

I would spread the slot enough to get a hacksaw blade in there, and cut the bolt. That should get it off the shaft. Once you have that, you can drill it out or use one of those broken screw removal tools.

if you can cut a slash tipe deal on the top of the bolt so you can unscrew it with philips.

Ok shifter off, now i need a way to get the bolt out. any ideas?

Default 400ex foot shifter problem

Use a drill with a bit that will fit in the hole without drilling out the threads, then use a tap to clean all remnants of the bolt out of the threads.
