Default hawkeye auxilary wires

are the 2 wires that hang down underneath the console on the hawkeye just optional hook up wires? could i just hook up 1 or 2 additional lights to it and a switch and it be functional?
thanks!

Can't see why not...as long as you're not hooking up a set of aircraft landing lights. I used one for power to the contactor for the winch on mine. It's the orange wire I think.

as long as the power drain isn't too big it would work fine, if your going with driving lights or something with a large power draw, adding a relay would be a good call.
I used the accessory leads with a double pigtail to power a 12v outlet to plug in a small 12v air compressor (tire pump), and the other for the winch.
Can't figure out why Polaris just didn't put in the accessory plug since the wiring is right there anyway...Go figure!
