Default Polaris Trail Boss Problems

We have a polaris trail boss that my mom rides and the reverse in it is messed up or something because when you put it in reverse and give it gas it bogs down.

but when you hit the overdrive button it works fine.

anyone know the problem or anyone that can help me out

reply

thanks

it's made that way. it a saftey so if someone would put it in reverse by accident and pinning it taking off backward. it wouldn't go that fast. you can unhook the rev limiter and it will give you full power in reverse without the override button mashed. just follow the wires from the switch to the main block and unhook the black wire i think. i'm sure someone has done it on a tb before. maybe they can chime in with better info on how to do it.

All Polaris quads are supposed to do that.
