My rig is a 1996 sportsman 500 ... worn exhaust lobes and rocker arms. Found a complete head close by but its off a 2002 500 "HO" they said. New cam and rockers. Question is....will the cam & rockers, or complete head work off the 2002 HO 500 on my 1996 500 ???

Im gonna call the shop when they open as well but wanted to post here to get as much confidence/input as I can before I order it.

People were putting the Scramblers cams in the Sportsman 500 and making there own H.Os long before Polaris did it themselves in 2001. All the 500 Fuji motors are the same except for fuel intake and cams.

 

Yes it will work .

 

Just get the cam and rockers if they will split it up .
