Well, as the header says I am unsure which rear rack extender to buy in addition to the Gun Scabbard already mounted on my bike!

I have already bought this one: http://www.purepolaris.com/Det...603(PolarisPGACatalog) It fits if I remove the Scabbard but I would prefer one that allows me to use both at the same time.

I have found it hard and irritating at times to buy accessories on my Sportsman Touring and I am surprized how difficult it seems to be even though it's a new model and all, it's not that different from previous models in basic.

Any help on this issue highly appreciated.

I remember seeing a gun boot mount that bolts onto the rack extender or the rack itself. I think Kolpin made it. I don't know it it's quick detachable or semi-permanent. Check Kolpin anyway.

Got both parts and it fits perfectly on my Sportsman 800 Touring '08

Excellent look and very robust.

I also received a rod holder made by All Rite Products in Utah and what a fantastic product it is. Very robust, easy to assemble and a rugged clean look. Fits both for fly rods and regular rods. Highly reccomended.
