Default 2009 Polaris 550 xp

I have owned this 4 wheeler since new with no problems ever until now. I have kept up with maint and it is well taken care of.
A couple days ago my son used it to visit the neighbor down the road only about 200 yrds. It started fine ran fine, he shut it off then nothing. The digital screen blinks a little and there is a humming under the front rack. I hooked up a new battery, jump started and still nothing. Im puzzled. Help if you can.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Check your fuse box and wiring leading into it. Items 2-4. Plus also has a circuit breaker that could be corroding up causing prblems. Item #9.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Located the fuse box. All fuses and wiring seem to be ok. I pulled the relays one by one to see which was making the noise. Looks to be the bottom left labeled Chassis Relay. Any thoughts? I assume this relay is bad but are there any other things I need to be looking for that may have caused the relay to blow?

Thanks again.

What can cause any replay or fuse to blow is a short in the fuse block itself. Remove the fuse block from the frame and check all wires leading into it and up the harness.
