Default want my pred to be the ultimate trail burner

I ride on muddy, rutted trails. Some spots require a slow hill climb, due to a trun at the top. some spots, I only have a few inches of room on either side to keep from getting buried in the ruts left by 4x4's, followed by a hill climb. I want to keep my gearing the way it is, so I can smoke any quad if they want to drag race on the small county roads near there. Anyone have any suggestions?

Your on the right track, but I would definitely add nerf bars, they will save you from getting stuck with a stick and if your feet slip off, which is unlikely with the gnarly footpegs they give you, then you won't run over your feet, which does hurt! You didn't say anything about performance mods....

i dont know what parts are good for the pred but you sid you want to smoke ppl in drag racing also.so to me you do the normal mods. piston/cam. again i not sure what ones are best but webcams always seem to be very good. hotcams is another good cam brand. as far as piston je and cp are both good pistons. a good port and polishing will help a lot also. and of course exhaust and intake. i have a efi raptor 700 so im not really sure what else can be done 2 these things.

I've considered bigger cams, but like I said, cost is an issue.
