02 Rappy

Hey guys,
I found a 02 Raptor for $2500.00 The Plastic is beat to hell ,but the owner says it starts and runs good .
What do you think of the price and was there any problems with an 02 that I should know about / look for ?
(tranny , etc.)
(Don't know the hours on bike yet).

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: Raptor450 That price is a little steep. Around here they are selling clean 660's for $1800-2200 for '01-02 models.</end quote></div>
Around here, the cheapest you can get an 02 in decent shape is $2,500, I think there's nothing wrong with that price, heck buy new plastic for $450 and it'll look great

Got any good links for plastic ? Yamaha dealer or aftermarket ? (Dennis Kirk)?
I am still trying to make an appt to look at the 02 Raptor . I am also finding others, there is a nice 2006 low hours , clean (looks brand new) but they want $4500.
That's starting to get up there.
Anyone know what the compression should be on those motors?
