I think that I sure hope you're talking Canadian dollars for seven grand. Either one of those is a $5,000 quad brand new. Of the two, go for the KQ400. It's really an Eiger with new plastics but it's a proven design, very sporty for it's class and reliable.

The yamaha is smaller, and the suzuki is the same size as the 450 & 700.

I would go with the suzuki because it's a bigger quad with a bigger engine for the same price.

Honda Rancher 420! A used Rancher 350 if you are on a budget.

If you only do work, then an arcticat would be good. The arcticats are not good trail machines because their engines are slow and the whole atv is pretty heavy. I suggest buying a Suzuki King Quad 400 over the Yamaha. My friend's brother has had a couple of Yamahas in the past and has had a lot of trouble with them. The KQ400 is basically an Eiger 400 with new plastics but it weighs a bit less, it is a bit smaller than the Eiger, the breaks have been enlarged, and I think the King Quad looks a bit better than the Eiger.

Sorry, I didn't read clearly enough. The 650 H1 is a good ATV. The only downfall to it is sometimes the gear shift lever is finicky about going into gear properly. But other than that, this particular ATV made by Arctic Cat is a great trail machine. The rides on these are very smooth and I like a smooth ride.
