Anyone have swingarm lenght measurements for their 400ex or 250r? Just wondering since this topic was discussed earlier. I checked the swingarm lengths on my Raptor and a Banshee. I came up with 17 for the Raptor and 17 7/8 for the Banshee. Keep in mind these measurements are taken atop the chain from the center of the swingarm bolt to the center of the rear axle (still on the chain). These measurements should be a tiny bit different than the actual swingarm length because of the measurement location and method of determining length, but should be good enough for roughly comparing different machines. Thanks guys.

Yes Gary:

The 400EX is approx 18.25", I believe that is the same as the 88-89 250R's

The 86-87 250Rs are approx 19.5"

In the last issue of Dirtwheels they had a write up on Travis Spaders Powervalved 250R. They said that the Roll Design Swingarm that he was using was 17.5" but I am not sure how they measured that.
