GYT-R OR PRO CIRCUT
#1
I called my local dealer to check on. and maybe purchase the gyt exhaust. and he said it would be about three months before he could get another one. so he said he had a pro circut exhaust instock and it would probally be better. does anybody out there know if there's any truth to this? Thank's for any replys!

I actually just got my pro circuit slip on last night. I only got to blast down the road a little. It gave a lot better throttle repsonse and felt better throught the mid and top however I havent been on it long enought to really test it. It sure looks good and puts off a big bark. I should have the headpipe in tomorrow. I will let you know what the results are.

I dont think I will have to rejet. Pro ciccuit advised that I would not have too. It ran pretty well all the way through. Tonight will tell the story because I will have some time to ride and check the plug to see whats going on. Last night was only a quick run through the gears. I doubt though that I will have to rejet. I really like the looks of the pro circuit over the GYT-R. I know power is what we are all looking for but it sure looks good.

I am not claming to be an authority on teh subject, but I ahve had a few quads in my days, and my theory is this. Especially on four strokes,I really dont think the power output is going to vary more than a few hp between the best pipe and the worst. 4-strokes do not respond to mods like 2-strokes due to thier design.I mean seriously, look at all the 4-stroke pipes, they all look pretty much the same and have the basic same design, a smooth, slightly larger headpipe and a straight through silencer. I think that if one bike runs better with the same identical setup, except for the exhaust, then the bike was a stronger bike from the factory. Dont get me wrong, some pipes are more about the name than performance,I think everyone knows that DG pipes simply dont help a lot on 4-strokes, but the more serious pipes like Big Gun, Pro Curcit,Yoshimura, Graydon, CT, and Curtis Sparks are all very good pipes and should perform very close to each other.

etxlr8,
I paid $189 for it (slip on) and I just ordered the headpipe for $214. I should of just ordered them both at the same time but I wasnt going to get the headpipe for another month or so but I decided just to go ahead and get it.
