Default 2003 450S foreman NO HOLDBACK

Hi to everyone, glad to be here. I have a 2003 foreman 450S footshift and when I let off the gas the bike wants to freewheel no holdback and when I shut off gthe engine it sounds like something it still turning inside the bottom of the engine on the right side when your sittin gon the seat. I have a 1998 foreman 400 and when I let off the gas the bike will holdback great really dont need brakes on it. Any help would be great. My 450 does have the 2wd 4wd switch aswell. The bike runs great and everything works fine just no hold back. Again glad to be here.

There is a one way sprag clutch built into the center of the centrifugal clutch's hub, and yours has failed.

Welcome to the forum.

So, now you too can enjoy the Rincon (no engine braking at low speed) experience!!!

Hey Thanks for the help, and thanks for the welcome. Its this a big problem to fix? I work on Harleys and know a little about these Honda's but have never been inside the clutches. What parts do I need to buy to fixe this problem and about what is the cost? Thanks again for the welcome and glad to be here.
